I recently shared a meal with visiting relatives at "Kady's" at the Riviera Hotel. Kady's is a "coffee shop" style restaurant with reasonable prices and outstanding food and service! Try the Crab Legs, you must ask for them, they are not on the regular menu, only $9.95 and PILED HIGH! We went to the Casbar Theater at the Sahara a few nights ago to see Sonny Charles and Sweet Louie/The Checkmates perform, but I got the schedule mixed up. Appearing at the Casbar instead was a wonderful band called 'Funnesse'. We were pleasantly surprised when they took the stage. Vibrant and energetic, the group played songs from the 50's to the 90's in splendid fashion. With great humor and musical perfection, this band is a must see! Funnesse will be appearing in the Casbar Lounge throughout the month of June from 7pm to 11pm. Tell front man 'Crazy Ray' that I sent you! You will thoroughly enjoy their show. There is room for dancing too! The "Grand Opening" of the Venetian is scheduled for the month of June the date to be officially announced any time now!
